when you breathe I breathe

i lift my arms to the sky and reach all the way up until i hear a pop.

i tilt my head to the right and then to the left until i feel a pop.

i breathe in and then out.

i feel better i'm relaxed.

now im twitling my thumbs.

i hear the clock in the background.

hear the sound of people's breathing.

notice my chest moving in and out.

i'm breathing and im alive.

do you pay attention to my breathing? did you memorize what it sounds like? i memorized yours, and no i'm not a stalker i just know. no i don't like you but i do notice you.

your so quiet so when you make any movements i pay attention.

I watch as you lift your arms to the sky-reaching until you hear a pop.

Watch you tilt your head to the right and then to the left.

Watch your chest move as you breathe in and out.

You twiddle your thumbs notice the clock in the background and change your position.

It's almost time for you to go.

I know you don't notice me. I'm invisible. You can't even hear me breathe but I hear you.

As you get up I get up too.

We walk to the bathroom. You're at the sink now. You lift your head up and look into the mirror.

There i am looking back at you.

You still don't see me.

One day you'll see me. You have to because i am apart of You.

Of course, you cut me off some time ago when you decided that you didn't want this part of yourself anymore.

However, I'm back now, and i am in every stretch, every breath, and every movement you make.

One day you'll want me back and when you do i'll be there.
